He is an average sized man. He's also probably not the most physically imposing specimen.

This Man Killed a Lion in East Africa, sustaining wounds after fighting the Lion for 90 minutes bare hands while protecting his household.

He was ambushed & attacked by a large male lion but this man was not ready to be the lion's lunch, he killed the king of the jungle with his bare hands.

A 190+kg apex predator was killed by an unprepared & unarmed 65kg unfit middle aged man!

The lion attacked him in the one one way it knows; it used its size, huge claws, teeth & strength to try & make lunch out of an easy target.

Our hero here didn't have those physical attributes to match the Leo but he does have his impressive human superpower, the intellect, the most powerful of all abilities in the animal kingdom.

He knew how the lion attacks & also knows a bit about biology & how things work.

He figured that if the lion has size & strength as it's tool, then it's probably using a lot of oxygen too! So, sticking a hand down its throat & pinning its neck with the rest of his body will probably work & it did.

He got heavily injured but the lion having short supply of oxygen and limited thinking ability, couldn't think to change its tactics & got checkmated even though it had the physical advantage & the surprise element.

So...learn skills...be prepared for any ambush, use your intellect in dealing with life's challenges...be a survivor...your own hero.
